University of Niagara Falls Canada commits to student success through new partnership with the Management University of Africa

The University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) has formed an academic partnership with the Management University of Africa (MUA).

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Nov. 14 by David Gray, Provost and Vice-President, Academic at UNF, and Washington Okeyo, Vice-Chancellor at MUA.

As outlined in the MoU, the partnership aims to enhance the educational experience of students from both institutions. This could translate into articulation and pathway progression opportunities, joint educational programs, semester abroad programs, as well as student and/or faculty exchanges.

In increasing its global reach, UNF again demonstrated its dedication to student growth.

“By forming international partnerships, our hope is that UNF students will broaden their global perspective and apply what they’ve learned in real-world contexts,” said Gray. “This is a large part of our vision and why we’re proud to have made this agreement with MUA.”

The Management University of Africa was established in September 2011 as a premier private chartered university in Nairobi, Kenya. Sponsored by the Kenya Institute of Management, it offers professional courses as well as degree, diploma, and certificate programs in business administration, business management and leadership, commerce, and various other subjects.

Located in downtown Niagara Falls, UNF is an innovative and digitally oriented institution that prepares its graduates for leadership in a digital world. The university’s academic programs are aligned to meet the demands of business and industry, providing students with the skills and knowledge needed now and in the future.
