Our ISA team is here to guide and support you throughout your time as an international student, from your first steps on campus to graduation and beyond. We offer both virtual and in-person appointments for personalized support, as well as convenient drop-in sessions for quick questions.

Individual in-person appointments are available on-campus. To schedule an appointment, please email isa@unfc.ca with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your student number
  • A brief explanation of what you are looking to discuss
  • A copy of your current study permit

By providing a brief explanation of what you'd like to discuss, our staff will be better equipped to prepare for the meeting and assist you more effectively.

Individual virtual appointments are also available. To schedule an appointment, please email isa@unfc.ca and provide two to three dates and times that work for you to meet virtually. You will then be provided with a meeting link to meet virtually with your ISA. Make sure to provide the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your student number
  • A brief explanation of what you are looking to discuss

Virtual drop-in sessions are available in a group setting, each lasting one hour and intended for general questions. Please avoid sharing personal information. Check the UNF Campus Events Calendar for the detailed schedule.

If you have an urgent immigration-related question, please visit the Student Success Hub in-person. It is located on the first floor of the UNF Campus. Ask to speak with an International Student Advisor.

Workshops and information sessions

Our ISA team offers a variety of workshops and information sessions throughout the semester to keep you informed about essential immigration topics. These sessions cover everything from maintaining your study permit status and applying for extensions, to understanding work permit options and requirements for your post-graduation work permit.

The workshop schedule will be updated on Student Experience Hub and the UNF Campus Events Calendar regularly, so check often for the latest information and registration details!
