AODA Commitment Statement
Our commitment
Niagara Education Inc. (hereinafter referred to as, “University of Niagara Falls Canada” or “UNF”) is committed to providing accessible learning and employment spaces for students, employees and members of our community. We are committed to the principles of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and aim to ensure that dignity, integration and equality of opportunity are embedded in all aspects of university culture and day-to-day life.
We continuously update our practices to enforce a barrier-free environment that allows all people to maintain their independence and dignity. As an organization, we respect and uphold the requirements set forth under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), a statute enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Ontario that focuses on the core principles of equitable practice while recognizing the history of discrimination against persons with disabilities.
We are committed to continue developing, implementing and enforcing accessibility standards in order to achieve accessibility for Ontarians with disabilities with respect to goods, services, facilities, accommodation, employment, buildings, structures and premises.
UNF is also committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving website, content, and user experience for all people, while applying updated and relevant accessibility standards.

Website accessibility
We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What are we doing?
To help us make our website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for our website.
How are we doing?
We’ve worked hard on our website and believe we’ve achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.
