Join us for lunch and learn workshop exploring the history of Pride in Canada.

Dr. Raquel Benitez Rojas, Associate Dean of UNF’s Master of Arts in Digital Media and Global Communication program, will provide a historical overview exploring the key milestones and events that have shaped the LGBTQ+ rights movement in Canada.

  • Influential Figures: Learn about the activists and leaders who have made significant contributions to advancing equality and acceptance. 
  • Cultural Impact: Understand the cultural and societal changes brought about by the Pride movement and its ongoing relevance.

This event is open to UNF students and staff, as well as members of the Niagara Falls community interested in LGBTQ+ history and rights.
