Dustin Weihs has been a contract professor in the Ontario College and University systems for nearly six years. Prior to beginning his teaching career, he established a robust background with more than 10 years of industry experience in finance, management, and project management, professionally designated as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Before immigrating to Canada from the US in 2018, Dustin completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2010 at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma directly after completion of four years in the U.S. Army. He completed his graduate studies through Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota obtaining an MBA in 2013, a graduate certificate in Management Consulting in 2014, and then his Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in 2018 with research in Fintech as alternative finance for small businesses.
When not at work, Dustin enjoys spending time with his wife, Sahar, and his three boys swimming, camping, watching movies, and traveling. He also enjoys biking, working out, good books, and good conversation! He sees his role as empowering the next generation of professionals.
