Ehsan Torabizadeh

Portrait of Ehsan Torabizadeh

Ehsan Torabizadeh is an experienced academic and entrepreneur with a strong background in advanced technologies. He holds a PhD in Sustainability, an MEng in Industrial Engineering, and a BEng in Industrial Engineering.  

Ehsan is the former co-founder of the deep-tech startup ZebraKet, which specializes in quantum computing and artificial intelligence (AI). This experience has enabled him to spend the past three years working closely with startup incubation programs to support emerging entrepreneurs. His entrepreneurial ventures have been recognized for their innovative influence across the tech industry, and he’s worked on projects within the startup sector, automotive industry, oil and gas industry, and consulting firms.  

With more than seven years of teaching experience and a decade of research experience in business operations, sustainability, and emerging technologies, Ehsan has impacted thousands of students and published extensively in leading peer-reviewed academic journals. In the classroom, he focuses on making the course content engaging and relatable by incorporating real-world examples and encouraging his students to ask thoughtful questions. His passion has extended to developing the PhD in Maritime Supply Chain and MBA in Maritime Logistics programs for the Netherlands Maritime University College (NMUC) in Malaysia.  

In addition to his academic work, Ehsan volunteers his time as a reviewer for the Journal of Cleaner Production and is a member of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
