Holiday break and University of Niagara Falls Canada campus closure

New Student Orientation starts first week in January

With classes and exams officially done for the Fall Term, the University of Niagara Falls Canada is preparing to close for an end-of-year holiday break, starting at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24.

The campus will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 2 and regular operations will resume.

The Residence Office in UNF’s managed student residence will also be closed during this time. For students remaining in residence over the break, Residence Life staff will be available on call for emergencies.

Students commencing their UNF studies in the Winter Term will be welcomed on campus the first week of January for New Student Orientation (NSO), scheduled from Jan. 6 to 12. NSO is a time for new students to get to know the campus, each other, and the larger Niagara Falls community. Featured events include an introduction to student services available on campus, graduate and undergraduate orientation sessions, faculty meet and greets, and social activities both on and off campus.

Returning students can enjoy their time off until the start of Winter Term classes on Monday, Jan. 13.
