University of Niagara Falls Canada and Fleming College sign articulation agreement to enhance academic pathways for students

The University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) and Fleming College are excited to announce the signing of a new articulation agreement.

This strategic partnership aims to enhance academic pathways and provide greater opportunities for students to achieve their educational and career goals.

The articulation agreement will facilitate the transfer of credits for students from Fleming College to specific programs at UNF.

Graduates from Fleming’s Business diploma program can enrol in the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program at UNF. Fleming Practical Nursing diploma graduates are eligible to enrol in the Honours Bachelor of Science – Biomedical Sciences program at UNF, and graduates of Fleming’s Artificial Intelligence graduate certificate program can enrol in UNF’s Master of Data Analytics.

“We look forward to welcoming Fleming College graduates onto campus so they can continue their academic journeys with the University of Niagara Falls Canada,” said David Gray, Provost and Vice-President, Academic at UNF. “This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to providing accessible education that serves the needs of all learners.”

Fleming College, with campuses in Peterborough, Lindsay and Haliburton, is known for its commitment to hands-on learning and academic excellence. The college offers up to 100 diploma and certificate programs that prepare students for careers in a rapidly evolving job market.

Located in downtown Niagara Falls, UNF is an innovative and digitally oriented institution that prepares graduates for leadership in a digital world. Its five academic programs have been aligned to meet the demands of business and industry, providing students with the skills and knowledge needed now and for the future.

The official articulation agreement was signed July 29 by Gray and Theresa Knott, Executive Vice-President, Academic Experience at Fleming College.

“This new partnership helps Fleming College support our students after they leave our campuses and pursue new academic achievements,” said Knott. “This will enhance student success in their future careers, and we are pleased to be working with UNF.”

This initiative is part of UNF’s ongoing efforts to build networks among higher education institutions and to promote our diverse program offerings to a broader student base.
