About the program and position
The Master of Management is a digitally focused program designed to provide our graduates with a competitive edge in a rapidly changing digital economy. It offers two main specializations – Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technology.

The faculty of Master of Management invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship. The appointment will commence on January 2, 2025, or shortly thereafter.

Reporting to the Associate Dean, the successful candidate will bring a blend of academic rigor and practical expertise, ideally with experience in or connections to startup accelerators, incubators, or other entrepreneurial hubs.

We are looking for candidate who are passionate about fostering entrepreneurial thinking, conducting impactful research, and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs. The successful candidate will engage in independent research and scholarly activities, contribute to program development and continuous improvement. Service to the faculty and university is expected, with effective, respectful, and collaborative work in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings.

The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • A Doctorate/Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a related field from an accredited institution. In addition, a minimum master’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 5 years of professional work experience is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing and teaching Entrepreneurship courses within a multi-modal post-secondary education environment, specifically at graduate level.
  • Experience working with or within entrepreneurial hubs, incubators, accelerators, or innovation ecosystems is essential.
  • Related industry experience and expertise in entrepreneurship, or a similar field with experience in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, causal inference empirical research, or analytical modelling, to enhance student learning through real life scenarios and case studies is preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience at the graduate level is a significant asset.
  • PMP certification is an advantage.
