About the faculty and department
Honors Bachelor of Business Administration program is designed to equip students with a robust foundation in business, preparing them for success in a dynamic, evolving marketplace and a highly interconnected digital economy.
The high impact majors include:
Digital Economy where students gain in – depth knowledge in e-commerce, fintech, supply chain management, and emerging technologies and Digital Marketing where they develop a deeper understanding of digital marketing strategies, analytics, online branding, and digital asset management.
About the position
The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration invites applications for sessional instructor positions available for the Winter 2025 [January] academic term and invites applications from suitably qualified candidates.

This is a hybrid role. Sessional instructors are required to teach on -site for a minimum of 2 days per week, though this will depend on their teaching schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Honors Bachelor of Business Administration, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Conduct weekly lectures, review lecture material
- Lecture and teach students in a variety of delivery modes, creating an inclusive learning environment
- Invigilate quizzes, tests & exams, complete grading of quizzes, tests, assignments & exams
- Meet with or respond to students’ inquiries during office hours
- Update material and grades on the Learning Management System
- Work closely with the Associate Dean and other faculty members to create a collegial environment
- Attend departmental meetings as and when necessary
The successful candidate will have the following education and experience:
- Digitally and technologically oriented – comfortable with a variety of technologies and teaching delivery methods
- Minimum of a completed A Master’s degree (Ph.D. or DBA is preferred) in General Business Management, Business Management and Technology, Finance/FinTech, Accounting, Economics, Marketing/Digital Marketing, Operations, Information System, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in the areas of: General Business Management, Business Management and Technology, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship.
- Related industry experience and expertise to enhance student learning through real life scenarios and case studies.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods, technology-enhanced instruction, and experiential learning approaches is desirable.
- Previous experience teaching at postsecondary / graduate level in is a significant asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
