Job Title: Team Lead, International Student Recruitment (2 vacancies)
Location: Niagara Falls, ON (Hybrid)
Reports To: Assistant Manager, Student Recruitment
Position Summary
As a Team Lead, Student Recruitment Advisor, you will play a key role in advancing the global presence of our institution by attracting and guiding prospective international students to the University of Niagara Falls Canada.
The Team Lead position involves strategic outreach, personalized support, and a deep understanding of international education systems. The team lead recruitment advisor will work closely with the team lead to build a strong and resilient recruitment team of advisors to achieve enrollment targets.
As the Team Lead, you will also oversee the mentoring and training of the Student Recruitment Advisors. Your primary responsibility is to manage the team’s performance, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
You will also conduct quality checks and audits of their work, monitor protocol adherence and report to the Assistant Manager to drive the team’s success.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of Student Recruitment Advisors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Performance Enhancement
- Develop, implement, and manage performance improvement plans, including training, coaching, and mentorship for team members.
- Ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds KPIs related to student recruitment, enrollment, and conversion rates.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits on the work of Student Recruitment Advisors, providing feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Collaborate with the team to set and achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets, contributing to the institution’s growth.
- Ensure that all team members follow established protocols, standards, and ethical guidelines in their interactions with prospective students.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on team performance, including achievements, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Identify training needs and work with the Sales Operations Manager to design and implement training programs for team members.
- Address any conflicts or issues within the team, providing timely resolution and support.
- Escalate performance issues or disciplines to the Assistant Manager.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance recruitment processes and strategies for improved results.
- Any other related ad-hoc duties assigned by team leadership
Please note: Evenings and weekends may be required during peak recruitment periods.
Qualifications and Experience
- Successfully completed post-secondary degree in related field
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a student recruitment or admissions team.
- Experience within Canadian post-secondary institutions preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and reporting tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
