A new partnership between institutions under the umbrella of Global University Systems Canada aims to enhance academic opportunities for students.
The University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) recently entered into a pathway partnership with the Canadian College of Technology and Business (CCTB) in Vancouver, British Columbia.
A Program Pathways Transfer Credit Articulation Agreement was officially signed on July 18 by Jason Botelho, Campus Director at CCTB, and David Gray, Provost & Vice-President, Academic at UNF.
“This new agreement marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing seamless educational pathways for students,” said Gray. “By creating a clear and efficient transfer process between our university and CCTB, we are expanding access to higher education and empowering students to achieve their academic and career goals.”
This agreement provides seamless transfer credit options for CCTB students enrolled in programs such as the Cybersecurity Risk Management with Co-op, Business Management with Co-op, Data Engineering and Analytics with Co-op, or Hospitality and Tourism Management with Co-op. These pathways grant students advanced standing in various degree programs at UNF, enabling them to continue their academic journey with ease.
By streamlining the credit transfer process, this partnership enriches the academic experience for students and benefits both institutions. It signifies a shared commitment to providing enhanced educational pathways and underscores the collaborative spirit of UNF and CCTB.
